- Tastes evolve. Our benchmarks for what is "beautiful" "cool" "fashionable" is changing constantly. Just open your closet and compare the clothes you've accumulated through the years and you would see the evolution. Compare the phone models...the cars...the computers...the shoes...the architectures...music...colors...shapes..the web-design...I could go on with this list. Notice that you would tend to cringe on some past objects...sometimes sweet nostalgia but for the most part you cringe. I hope that my future self would not cringe on my current.
- Conserve water? What a joke. You mean we should ask the heavens not to pour that much water and dry our rivers a little bit? Conserve energy? What a joke. You mean we should shield the sky from all the energy it freely gives? I'd tell you why we're promoting the conservation of these two abundant concepts...to give the illusion of value. That's why! As of this date, these two things are the current cash-cows of the powers-that-be, and nobody even asks why we should even pay for it at all. You should conserve these two freely available things so you learn to fall in line and place value on what the universe has freely given. Air is constantly being converted into water in this planet. Energy is infinite. To conserve infinity is not only absurd but depressing to society so the next time you hear about these hollow pronouncements, question whoever is promoting the same.
- Natural disasters are being blamed for human activity. That's an old trick in the book to compel humans to do this and to do that. So ring the alarm bells when your broadsheet brainwashes you/scares you with this. Better question the alleged "science" being propounded and whoever is promoting the same. To begin with, natural disasters have nothing to do with water and energy efficiency. What an utter bull! Energy and water need not be conserved. Both of those things are constantly being created by the universe without any cost. Make it free and stop profiteering from human beings. Shame on these people who capitalize on natural disasters to scare people. I really get upset whenever I read the papers because I know exactly the politics behind these things.
- Here's another fallacy worth investigating: "Is there a direct correlation between flooding and logging?" I love trees. As far as I'm concerned they communicate to each other and are capable of sensing human feelings/energy signatures. But I want the truth behind this specific assertion because flooding affects human lives. I trust the evidence and not propaganda. And so far, there is no direct correlation between flooding and illegal logging. Contrary to popular belief, forests have only a limited influence on major downstream flooding, especially large-scale events. It is correct that on a local scale forests and forest soils are capable of reducing runoff, generally as the result of enhanced infiltration and storage capacities. But this holds true only for small-scale rainfall events, which are not responsible for severe flooding in downstream areas. During a major rainfall event (like those that result in massive flooding), especially after prolonged periods of preceding rainfall, the forest soil becomes saturated and water no longer filters into the soil but instead runs off along the soil surface. And by simply blaming logging activities will not in anyway help the population or prevent any form of catastrophic flooding unless we build flood-rerouting mechanisms or weather-modification devices.
- Fuel prices are rising due to false fears of scarcity and market manipulation/monopoly/domination. The best way for consumers to fight back is not to regulate its price but to boycott it all together. Switch to another less-controlling alternative. Petrol is not the only cheap source of oil and oil derivatives. If you want to be an instant billionaire, open an engine-conversion shop for converting every automobile into water-powered engines. Just imagine all the cars waiting for you. When things get rough, always see possibility.
- We, as human beings, constantly create the NOW that we are experiencing. Everything is mutable with the proper technology. Both scarcity and abundance is our own making because we are the ones who define which should be a resource and which shouldn't be. We are also the ones who device the methods by which to extract, convert, grow, propagate, manipulate the elements to our enjoyment and benefit. Nature serves the fancy and whims of the human unlike other creatures in this planet. We have been allowed tremendous power to wield the elements to our use, so whenever you hear scarcity you can automatically detect societal ignorance. Even light can be liquified to become matter in a Bose-Einstein condensate. That's how stars create the elements.
- Inadequate Budget is not an Alibi. Firing your budget secretary is a more appropriate course of action. Annual budgets should be shortened to a quarterly basis. One year is too long for a volatile and unpredictable market and population. If you go to a government agency and you can't avail of a constitutional entitlement and they tell you they have not prepared an adequate budget for it relative to current population size and needs, gather 200 hundred citizens and petition the resignation of the budget officers, the senate/house committees in charge of that function plus the secretary of that agency.
- Shorten the terms of your National Economic Adviser, Finance Secretary, Budget Secretary and any committee, senator, chairperson in charge with your country's fiscal management. These are highly-critical positions. The idiocy and lack of foresight of whoever sits on these positions affect us all since most current humans operate based on the monetary system. The failure of humans who sit on these positions will be posted annually for the world to ridicule. That should keep anyone holding these offices more concerned about the effects of their choices, budgets and programs. Alternative offices should be created as Plan B, should these offices fail us with their inadequacy.
- Shorten all elective positions to ONE YEAR. Managerial Incompetence is Dangerous to the whole of society. A lot of terrible things could happen in six years with that same incompetence.
- Anyone who has read my blog would see the pattern of my thoughts with regards God/Source/Divine Origin/Unified Consciousness/Transcendental Reality/Noumenon/Higher Being. I have my doubts. We all do. We all have our personal crisis of faith. And I found out it's impossible to contain this concept of the Monad/Ein Sof/Infinity/Dao into any formal system or religion. My friends would ask me how could an intelligent person believe (or even entertain) such an "absurd" and currently improvable assertion [over-extrapolation] about existence/reality/being. To which I have no answer. I frankly don't know. But an inner voice within me compels me to. God or something related to him/her/it shows in your life when you least expect it and when you suddenly lost all hope and faith. I know that's really mysterious, fuzzy and crazy. But that's just what it is. So I'm back to square 1 and still rethinking what this "God" or interrelated matrix of human existence is all about and how phenomena becomes entangled with our thoughts and prayers from all possible systems of knowing (theological, scientific, magical, multi-cultural).
